2003/07/24 ( 6:40 PM ) cxjo liveaboard slips are hard to come by. i sent some email queries out to various marinas around the sf bay, asking about monthly cost and wait times. waiting lists on the peninsula range from 3 to 5 years.. and they charge you to be on the list. what a racket! emeryville looks pretty bad, too, but i'm not sure about berkeley yet. i did get a positive response from richmond.. but it wouldn't be very nice to live there.. even if my rent was only $225. the commute would suck too much. #
