2003/12/09 ( 9:34 PM ) cxjo huge victory! well, the greens lost the election 117k to 106k, but then again, this is an unprecedented turnout in favour of a green! matt had hardly one tenth the funds of newsom, and newsom was backed by the incumbent as well as the ex-vp, jesse jackson and a number of prominent dems! you could feel them shaking in their boots! and you have to also consider the fact that prolly 15 or 16k of voters that would have voted for matt were too stoned off their asses to find their polling place or they just forgot or whatever. so i'm declaring victory right here for the greens! yaaay! we shall overcome... #
